I didn't used to know. At one point, I even went on starvation mode because I thought that would accelerate my plan to lose weight. Of course, that didn't work out well. So I started following diet after diet, but all of which seemed to work for those who created it, but not for me. And because I was "taught" calorie deficit equals weight loss, I cut down on food portion size and had to dealt with constant hunger. Not good at all. No matter what I put into my mouth, even if it's just water, I felt fat. I had a very unhealthy relationship with food, my weight and image for who knows how long.
My life have been revolving around diets after diets for the past decade. It took me this much time to finally realize that once I stop dieting, and build a healthy relationship with food, I felt much better. Not just that, I have set a strong foundation that triggers fat-loss. I'm not kidding. Many of us thinks that to lose weight, it means we have to eat clean and sacrifice. Having taken all the wrong turns, I can say to you for sure that is a myth and largely a message formulated by health food companies.
Fast forward to today, I no longer feel guilty over eating and I finally found the way to lose fats in a lasting manner without feeling depressed. To lose fats, you don’t always have to restrict food choices and reduce the amount you're eating. Spare yourself. You're going to lose your mind if you keep doing this.

Shrink Waist Project is a community to help the many women out there set their foundation for weight loss - and that foundation is to practice lifestyle eating. It's a term I coined to regain the healthy relationship with food which most of us (including me) have lost amidst the concept of dieting. Without lifestyle eating, you will not be able to sustain a fat-loss effort.
Hence, I take it upon myself to help you regain your lifestyle eating. And why me? Because I've been there and done that after stumbling for close to 10 years and I absolutely do not want to see anyone follow in my footsteps.
There is no diet program, no food restriction or deprivation. Shrink Waist Project teaches basic concepts that builds your lifestyle eating habit such as meal prepping. The difference between a diet and lifestyle eating is that the former is a chore and never last, and lifestyle eating is enjoyable and sustainable.
